Just came across something interesting regarding Carolyn Pruyser's disappearance. I was chatting with my aunt, who lived in Peace River back in the '80s, and she mentioned there were rumors about odd activity at the Mohawk service station where Carolyn was last seen. Apparently, several folks claimed to have seen a suspicious van parked nearby on multiple occasions around the time she vanished. It makes you wonder if anyone took down its license plate or spoke to its owner. Has anyone else heard about this van, or is it just one of those small-town rumors that got away from everyone? I know we have the info about the hunters and the potential grave site, but maybe this could be another angle worth looking into. It just feels like every small detail could be crucial in a case this cold. Thoughts or any other local anecdotes you'd want to share?
