I’ve been deeply moved by the outpouring of support for Cedric Hawkins Jr.’s family in this incredibly difficult time. As this case unfolds, I’ve been thinking about how tragic it is for little Alaya, who'll now grow up without her father. It’s truly upsetting how one moment can impact so many lives. Let's keep the Hawkins family in our thoughts and prayers and hope they find the strength to get through this.
