Has anyone else wondered why Edward Pinarreto's thumbs aren't discussed more? It's such a unique feature with one deformed and the other amputated. I mean, if someone spotted him somewhere, wouldn't they notice that right away? Plus, wouldn’t this detail provide some kind of lead if he needed medical attention for either of them while in Cuba? I feel like we often focus on the general descriptions and overlook distinctive characteristics that could be pivotal. Anyone else have thoughts on how this could play into tracking his movements or finding new witnesses?
