In the winter of 2001, a man by the name of Edward Pinarreto embarked on what was meant to be a two-week vacation to Cuba, a temporary departure from his life in Toronto, Ontario. He was last seen in Toronto on January 29, 2001, as he prepared for his trip. At the time of his disappearance, he was a male of Caucasian descent with a slender build, standing at five feet six inches tall and weighing approximately 150 pounds.
