Did anyone else hear about Roy Burton Sturgis’s heroic actions during the Mad Butcher shooting? A friend of mine who was there said Roy was actually trying to help others find safe cover when the shooting started. It breaks my heart to think that he was taken away while trying to save others. From what I've read, he was a long-time resident of the area and was beloved by the community. It's so difficult to comprehend how someone can perform such senseless violence in a place where people like Roy were just going about their daily lives. Let’s hope justice is served for Roy and the other victims, and we find out what really led to this tragedy. My thoughts go out to his family and friends during this devastating time.
