Hi everyone,
I’ve been following the case out of Hot Springs and something's really bothering me about it. I read that Essie Fuller III was initially charged with theft by receiving of a firearm. It makes me wonder how he even got his hands on that weapon in the first place. It's a known issue that stolen firearms can lead to such tragic outcomes, but it raises so many questions about the chain of events. Was this weapon reported stolen earlier? Could there have been a missed opportunity to recover it before this incident?
My heart truly goes out to the family and friends of Johnny Lee Simon. It's unfathomable to think that a stolen weapon, floating around in the wrong hands, could lead to losing someone you care about so suddenly. I hope that as the investigation continues, more light will be shed on the origins of the firearm, and maybe it’s something that can be prevented in the future.
Anyone else have thoughts or info on this angle?
Has anyone else been following the case of Johnny Lee Simon's murder in Hot Springs? My heart goes out to his family—what a tragic loss. I'm trying to wrap my head around the situation on Wade Street. Does anyone know what led to Johnny being there at 6 a.m.? I find it odd, given the time of day and location. I can't help but wonder if it was a random encounter or if there’s more to the story. It’s frustrating not knowing the complete picture. I hope the investigators can piece everything together and bring justice for Johnny’s loved ones.
