I've been diving into the case of Roy Nippi, and one thing that's really struck me is the lack of media coverage from back in '83. It seems like there was minimal reporting about his disappearance outside of local news in Saskatchewan. Does anyone else think this might've impacted the investigation? Sometimes I wonder if increased awareness at the time might have led to more tips or witnesses coming forward. It's frustrating to think how different things might have been if this case received the attention it deserved. Would love to hear others' thoughts on how media (or the lack thereof) plays a role in missing person cases, especially back in the day.
