I was thinking about the Ruben Orozco case recently and it got me wondering about the significance of Elk Grove as a location. I mean, it’s not exactly the middle of nowhere, but it’s also not a huge urban center with a lot of high-traffic areas. Could the quieter setting have contributed to the lack of witnesses? Or maybe there’s something about Elk Grove specifically that played a role in his disappearance? It seems odd that someone would just vanish without a trace in a relatively smaller town. Would love to hear other thoughts on this aspect.
