I’ve been thinking a lot about the area where Charlie was last seen. The footbridge connecting Louise McKinney Park and Henrietta Edwards Park is such a busy spot during the day, so it’s mind-boggling that nobody saw anything that could have helped back then. I used to go jogging there, and the amount of people around always made it feel safe. I keep wondering about the timing; November in Edmonton can be pretty chilly and less crowded as the evening sets in. Maybe that played a role? It just raises so many questions about whether someone might have seen him and just didn’t think anything of it. The whole situation is a constant reminder of how crucial it is to stay observant. I’m really hoping with all the renewed interest in cold cases these days, someone might remember something small yet vital.
