Has anyone else noticed the lack of media attention on Konrad Murach's case over the years? I mean, considering how many missing persons cases gain traction through news outlets and public interest, it's puzzling (and frankly frustrating) that his disappearance didn't really make headlines. I've been digging through old newspapers and can barely find more than a couple of mentions. From everything I've read, he just vanished without a trace back in 1983, and I can't help but wonder if the lack of early media coverage contributed to it going cold so quickly. Do any local Ottawans or older community members remember any buzz about this in the early '80s? Or maybe someone recalls discussions that aren't documented online? Sometimes those personal memories are way more valuable than official records! It feels like there could be so much more to uncover if we could just open the public's eyes back then, or even now. If anyone has any tips on old forums or archives that might hold overlooked clues, sharing them could potentially lead to new avenues for his family and the investigators. Let's not allow Konrad's story to completely fade from collective memory.
