Has anyone ever looked into whether there were any known predators in the area around the time Andrew Moses went missing? I know the wilderness can hide many dangers, and while some reports mentioned his rifle being found, I'm curious if there's a possibility that wildlife could have played a role in his disappearance. It's odd that his rifle, which he'd obviously need for protection, was left behind. Maybe he ran into something unexpected and didn't have time to react? I’m not an expert, but the suddenness of leaving it behind makes my mind wander to potential threats he might've faced out there. Any thoughts or further information from those familiar with the Algoma District and its wildlife back in the day would be appreciated.
