I just came across the GoFundMe page set up for Ny'Asia Nicole Culbertson's funeral expenses, and it had me reflecting on the strength and unity of the Princeton community during this unimaginable loss. It's truly moving to see so many people coming together to support Ny'Asia's family when they need it most.
Her passing has left a hole in the hearts of many, and it's hard not to think about how much potential and joy was lost with her. As a 5th grader, she had her whole life ahead of her, and it’s devastating that she won’t get to experience all the things she deserved. I think about her classmates and the profound impact this must have on them.
It's painful to see gun violence claim another innocent life, especially in our close-knit communities. My thoughts are with Ny'Asia's family, friends, and everyone affected by this tragedy. May they find comfort in the support surrounding them and in the loving memories of Ny'Asia.
