I came across a detail in Vicente Peralta Figueroa’s case that really bothers me. Why did Hernandez drive off after the fight instead of calling 911 or getting Vicente to a hospital immediately? It’s baffling and frankly upsetting to think about how things might’ve played out differently if he had just gotten help. Especially considering Hernandez's emotional state when he showed up at that witness’s home, it seems like he knew the situation was dire. I can’t imagine how terrified Vicente must've been in those final moments, and my heart goes out to his family. This part of the story raises so many questions about what really happened in that garage. Anyone else feel like there's more to this aspect that needs to be unraveled?
