Has anyone else been thinking about the role that technology played in this tragic case? It just breaks my heart to think of how Zachary Carson was trying to do the right thing by helping his friend, only to end up losing his life. It’s scary to think about the lengths someone will go to exert control over another person, especially during a vulnerable time like a divorce. I can’t imagine the fear she must have felt being stalked without her knowledge. This should serve as a wake-up call to all of us about the importance of digital safety and protecting our privacy. My thoughts are with Zachary's family and friends. He sounds like he was a genuinely kind person who was taken far too soon.
