Anyone else looked into the weather data for July 5, 1991? I was curious about the conditions on the day Lyndsay McKinney went missing and decided to dig a bit into historical weather records. From what I've found, there was indeed a sudden and intense storm that swept through the area that day. It seems like it came out of nowhere, which would have been terrifying for anyone out on the water. Even experienced sailors can be caught off guard by Lake Ontario's changing moods. I wonder if any other boats were out that day and what their experiences were. Maybe someone else on the lake might have seen something or can remember details that could help us understand what happened to Lyndsay. It's tragic how quickly a serene day at sea can become so dangerous. Nature sure has a way of reminding us of its power.
