Has anyone else been following the news about Joshua Wade's confessions? It's so devastating to hear about families like the Soxies who have to relive their trauma. I can't even imagine what Arlene and her family must be going through right now. It's infuriating that there may be no new trial or justice for Henry Ongtowasruk and the other victims Wade claims to have killed. This situation really highlights some deep flaws in the justice system. How can someone confess to additional murders and not face any new charges or punishment? I totally understand why Arlene feels that the system seems to protect criminals more than the victims' families who live with the pain every day. Wade trying to bargain anything at all, after taking so much away from these families, is just wrong. It’s appalling that there's any room for negotiation. While it's a relief Wade will stay locked up for life, it doesn't bring back those lost or truly honor their memory in a court of law. My thoughts go out to Henry’s family and all those still seeking justice and peace.

Has anyone else been following the recent developments about Joshua Wade and the impact on the families of his alleged victims? My heart goes out to Arlene Soxie and the family of Henry Ongtowasruk. I can't even begin to imagine what they're going through, having to relive the loss of their loved one all over again. It's like ripping a scab off a wound, and to not see justice served in the way the family hoped must be incredibly frustrating. I find it disturbing that Wade is supposedly bargaining information for potential perks, despite already serving a life sentence. Shouldn't there be a way to give families like Henry's a sense of closure and justice? The legal system often feels like it's more about procedure than the victims left behind. Sending strength to all the affected families during this incredibly difficult time. Let's keep discussing and advocating for true justice.

Hi everyone, I've been following the updates on the case involving Joshua Wade and came across something that deeply bothers me. Arlene Soxie, the mother of Henry Ongtowasruk, shared that Wade confessed to killing her son back in 1999. Yet, she’s been told he won’t face trial for this confession since he's already serving a life sentence. I can't imagine the pain of losing a child being compounded by the knowledge that justice might never be fully served. It feels incredibly unjust for the families who never got their day in court. They deserve the chance to confront the person responsible and to have their voices heard. Doesn't it feel wrong that our system sometimes prioritizes logistical efficiency over the emotional needs of victims’ families? Prosecutors should reconsider their stance on pursuing these old cases, especially when new information like this comes to light. The families affected deserve closure and recognition of their suffering. What are your thoughts on how the justice system handles these types of situations? It seems like there's a long way to go in ensuring the voices of victims' families are truly heard and respected. Stay strong, everyone.
