I've been following the case of Brooks Thomas Wilson and it's just so incredibly sad. My heart really goes out to the Wilson family and everyone affected by this. I wanted to bring up the aspect of gun safety because it's such an important conversation that can't be neglected. It’s every parent's nightmare, and something like this shows how crucial it is to secure firearms, even if we think they are already out of the reach of kids.
I’m interested in hearing what precautions other families take to prevent accidents like this. Does anyone have tips or suggestions for how to make homes safer, especially if you have children who are curious and energetic like Brooks was? It might not change what happened in Santaquin, but maybe it can help prevent another family from having to go through a similar tragedy.
