Hey everyone, I’ve been thinking about the location where Maria Helen Marin was last seen. Johnson Lake and its surrounding wilderness are incredibly vast, which makes me wonder about the specific challenges the search teams might have faced. Does anyone know if there’s any precedent for similar cases in that area? I imagine the environment can be quite unforgiving, especially for someone traveling alone and on foot. I also keep thinking about the possibility of Maria heading north. Highway 93/95 is long and it seems possible that someone might have given her a ride. Perhaps any truckers or local commuters who frequent that route saw something back then? This case feels like it has so many layers, and the unpredictability of her route only deepens the mystery. If anyone has more insight about the area or similar cases, I’d love to hear it. Fingers crossed for new leads!
