I've been thinking a lot about the cousin in this case. It must be incredibly difficult to carry the knowledge that their SUV was used in Michael's killing. Imagine picking someone up, thinking it's going to be a regular day, and suddenly being thrust into a nightmare. My heart goes out to them because they must be caught in such an emotional turmoil – being close to Darnell yet unable to change what happened. I wonder how this might affect their relationship and mental state. And for Michael's family, this must be another layer of pain knowing someone else witnessed, even indirectly, their loved one's tragic end. Sending thoughts of strength and healing to everyone touched by this tragedy.
