Hey everyone,
I've been reading through a few old local newspaper archives, and I stumbled upon some intriguing details about Archie's disappearance that I don't think I've seen discussed much here. Apparently, there were a few reports from around that time mentioning unusual wildlife activity near Laroque Lake. Locals had noted an increase in sightings of wolves and other predators, which makes me wonder if this could have played a bigger role than we might realize. No evidence of a struggle was found, sure, but could an encounter with wildlife have led Archie to become disoriented or to seek shelter off the usual trails?
It just seems like such a vast area, and with the lack of clues, perhaps something subtle like this could explain why no trace was found. What do you all think? Could this potential increase in predator presence have impacted his ability to safely navigate the wilderness? I'd love to hear other thoughts on this!
