Hey everyone, I was reading up on Catherine "Wendy" Lafortune's case and something struck me as odd about the area where she was last seen. I live in New Sudbury, and the stretch from Apollo Terrace to the Olivera Building is a pretty busy area, especially around that time on a weekday. There are often people coming in and out of the nearby shops and bus stops. It’s hard to imagine how someone could vanish without a trace from there. I'm wondering if anyone who frequents that area noticed anything unusual or if there were any roadworks or events that day which might have distracted people passing by. Also, has there been any word on whether the police checked out any alternate routes beyond Apollo Terrace that she might have taken? With the similarity to the other missing persons case nearby, it feels like there are still so many unanswered questions. Anyone else have thoughts on this? Let's hope the authorities find something soon.
