I've been thinking about the efforts to locate Mr. Felicien Laforce, and something struck me about the mobile command posts set up by the police. While it was reported that they set these up in June and November of 2023, I wonder if anyone from the community had any feedback on these efforts. Did they feel the locations were effective? Were community members comfortable approaching the command posts to provide info? Sometimes, the success of these initiatives can hinge on whether the community feels engaged and safe enough to share what they know. If anyone here visited one or heard of someone who did, I’d love to know your thoughts on how these efforts were perceived locally. Could it be that changing locations or trying different methods might yield more tips or leads? It’s crucial to think about how they might improve engagement to hopefully find Mr. Laforce.
