I've been thinking a lot about the weather conditions around the time David Howlett's car was found at Cape Spear. For those who know the area, you’ll understand just how treacherous it can be, especially in December. With his car abandoned there, I wonder if the harsh weather and rough terrain at that time might have played a role in his disappearance. The ocean is so unpredictable, and the trails can be slick and dangerous. Has anyone looked into the weather reports from the night of December 3, 2015? It might offer some insight into what David was up against that night. Plus, with the high wind and cold, it's possible that critical evidence could have been washed away or gone unnoticed. Would love to hear if anyone has any thoughts or knows more about how conditions might have impacted the search efforts back then.
