I was just thinking, has anyone looked into the possibility of Gordon Keith Harvey having a medical issue that night? While the strong currents of the South Saskatchewan River are definitely a concern, the idea of a sudden health problem, like a cramp or even something like a heart attack, crossed my mind. It might've made it nearly impossible for him to swim back to safety, especially if he was already feeling unwell. I wonder if locals or regular visitors to Cranberry Flats back then noticed anything unusual about the conditions that evening, like the water temperature or visibility. It could give some context to what he might've been facing in those last moments. Anyone else have any thoughts on this angle?
