I've been doing a deep dive into historical missing persons cases and stumbled upon the case of Darryl Norman Gundrum from Sherwood Park, Alberta. The guy vanished in 1970, right after a court case for marijuana possession where charges against him were dropped. Something that's been really sticking with me is the tattoos Darryl had. From what I understand, he had some pretty distinctive ink, like the 'RCN' anchor on his forearm and a devil and trident on the other arm. Tattoos are so personal, and they usually tell a story or represent something important in a person's life. I can't help but wonder if any of his tattoos could offer a hint about where he might have gone or with whom he might have been involved. Did he want to leave that life behind, or did those tattoos symbolize unresolved issues that caught up with him? Anyone here who knows about tattoo symbolism from back in the day? Could it provide us with a clue as to his mindset or associations? The whole thing is such a haze, and these little details seem like they might mean something.
