Has anyone looked into the nursing home's security measures at the time of Irene's disappearance? Given her mobility challenges, it's baffling to think she could have just walked away undetected. Were there any cameras or staff logs that could provide insight into who might've been around that afternoon? It's a small community, and someone might have noticed something unusual but didn't think much of it at the time. I imagine any bit of footage or forgotten detail could be a game changer in piecing together what happened to her. It's cases like these where every little piece of information could make a difference.

AV , I checked recent local posts and the Grand Falls Police Force still lists Irene’s case as open (a municipal post marking 24 years since her disappearance urges anyone with information to contact GFPF at 506-475-7767). I could find no public record saying whether the nursing home had cameras or preserved staff logs from August 3, 2002, so that detail would need to come from the police or the facility's records.
