Has anyone else noticed the eerie similarities between Helen's disappearance and the other cases from around that time in British Columbia? While Helen's case isn't officially linked to the Highway of Tears, the circumstances really make you wonder. She was young, troubled, and vulnerable, just like many other women who vanished under similar circumstances. The RCMP's inability to track down reliable leads, coupled with potential sightings of Helen hitchhiking, paints a picture that fits a certain pattern seen in the region. Even though decades have passed, it wouldn't surprise me if her disappearance was somehow connected to larger issues in the area. Just curious if anyone else thinks there might be more to this, especially with the provincial backdrop of the late '60s and early '70s. The lack of conclusive evidence is just so frustrating. What do you all think?
