Hey all, I've been diving into the Scott Bates French disappearance again and something's been bugging me. Why hasn't there been more focus on his sailing route that day? I mean, surely there must be traffic or radar data capturing boat movement on Lake Ontario, right? The lake's pretty busy, especially in the summer. Could tracking other vessels' paths from the same day give us any new leads or witnesses? I know it's been over a decade, but technology has come a long way. Maybe some of those boats had dash cam-like footage, or were people fishing nearby who might have noticed something odd? I get that the border complicates things, but wouldn't it be worth trying to piece together who else was out there at the same time? Just thinking out loud here, but any clue, no matter how small, might break this wide open. What do you guys think? Any experts here on lake surveillance or boat traffic monitoring?
