I wanted to bring up something slightly different about Lorilee Mae Francis's case. I've been thinking a lot about how these missing person cases, especially involving Indigenous women, don't seem to get the timely attention they deserve. For instance, does anyone have thoughts on how Project KARE was involved? It seems like their focus was on Lorilee's potential high-risk lifestyle, but it's frustrating to think about how maybe more proactive measures could've been taken earlier in the investigation. It's disheartening that her family had to face so much on their own when searching across provinces. Also, has anyone else noticed a lack of cross-provincial support in similar cases? It just makes you wonder if there could be a more streamlined process to offer support and resources to families navigating such difficult circumstances. Curious to hear others' views on how inter-provincial cooperation might improve things for future cases.
