I came across something while reading about Paul Ellis Elliott's case that’s really bugging me. It seems so strange to me that the bicycle, which seems pretty key, was only discovered nearly six years later in a back room of a locked trailer. Why wouldn't the trailer have been thoroughly searched in the early stages of his disappearance? I understand it wasn’t an immediately obvious place to look, but given his son specifically checked that rural trailer property, it seems odd that this wasn't spotted until 2013. Does anyone know if there were ever any leads or theories about how the bike ended up there or who might have locked it away? I feel like that's a pretty big piece of the puzzle that’s gone unanswered. It's incredibly frustrating that such a crucial piece of evidence seemed to appear out of thin air so long after he vanished.
