Hi everyone,
I've been thinking a lot about the emotional impact this case must have had on Kassandra’s family, especially considering how close they all seemed to be. It’s just unimaginable to lose someone so suddenly and so senselessly. Her obituary mentioned that Kassandra was always nurturing and ready to help those around her. It's so tragic that a person who embodied such kindness and compassion could have her life cut short by violence.
One aspect that really struck me while reading about her was how she left behind her little daughter, Noelani. I keep wondering how the family is coping and what steps they’re taking to keep Kassandra’s memory alive for Noelani. I hope they are surrounded by love and support during this incredibly difficult time. Does anyone know if there have been any recent tributes or events held in memory of Kassandra?
Also, I heard that some communities organize events to raise awareness about gun violence in remembrance of loved ones they've lost. If such an event took place or is planned in Tucson, it would be a poignant way to celebrate her life and advocate for change. If anyone has information on that, I’d love to hear about it.

I recently stumbled upon a touching post from Kassandra Jazmin Medina’s family that shared little Noelani's drawing dedicated to her mom. It struck me how powerful and innocent children's perspectives can be. Kids sometimes have a way of capturing their emotions in the most honest and heart-wrenching ways. This tragedy clearly impacted Noelani in a profound way, and it’s devastating to think of all the milestones she’ll have to experience without her mother.
I can't even imagine the strength it requires for her family to hold it together for Noelani while dealing with their own grief. Kassandra's legacy lives on through her daughter, and it's comforting to know that Noelani has a lot of love and support surrounding her. It's times like these that remind us how crucial it is to value and protect our loved ones. My thoughts are with all of Kassandra’s family and friends, especially little Noelani.
