I recently came across the case of Ronald Couture, and something about it caught my attention that I think is worth discussing here. What’s particularly intriguing is the lack of any financial activity on his part since his disappearance. In so many missing persons cases, you at least get a hit on bank accounts or credit cards, but with Ronald, there's just nothing. Who leaves home like it’s any other day, without any indication of what’s to come, and then just completely vanishes without a trace—financially or physically? The absence of any record of financial transactions suggests to me that either something prevented him from accessing his accounts (like foul play), or maybe he started over somewhere else entirely and never touched his old accounts again to avoid detection. It’s peculiar, though, that in almost three decades, nobody’s accidentally stumbled upon the car or even the license plate WGT 621 that’s still out there somewhere. With technology and databases today improving so much over time, you’d think it would’ve triggered some alert somewhere. Would love to hear if anyone else has theories or thoughts on why there have been no financial clues about Ronald or his car turning up in all this time. There has to be more under the surface here!
