I've been following Veronique Courchesne's case for a while now, and something that really stands out to me is the timing of her last phone call to her husband on December 31, 1979. It's such a significant date, just before the start of a new year. I've always wondered if there's any symbolic meaning or intention behind her choice to make contact right on New Year's Eve. Maybe it was a farewell of sorts, or perhaps she intended to come back but got deterred. The more I think about it, the more I wish there were records or details from that conversation. Even the smallest hint could shed light on what was going through her mind. Anyone else have thoughts on why she might have picked that day to reach out?
