It breaks my heart to think about how John "Jack" Moriarty spent his life helping some of the most vulnerable people only to have his own life taken in such a violent way. I can't stop thinking about the impact his tragic passing must have had on the congregation and the community he served. The Redeemed Outreach Center was more than just a place for him to preach—it was a sanctuary where he extended a hand to those society often pushed aside. It's hard to imagine how the community filled the void left by such a selfless leader and advocate. Sending all my thoughts to his family and everyone who found refuge in his kindness.
