Has anyone here attended any of the vigils for Gaspar in the past? I recently read about the one organized by his family back in August 2015, and it got me thinking about how these events help people grieve and show support. It’s such a powerful way for the community to come together. What really struck me was how, even years later, people are still lighting candles for him on that memorial site. It's touching to see that his memory is still cherished and actively honored. If anyone here has been to the vigil or participated in the memorial activities, what was the atmosphere like? How has the community continued to support his family over the years? It just feels so important to keep these stories alive and ensure that Gaspar and others like him aren't forgotten. Would love to hear some personal stories or insights on this. Stay safe, everyone.
I was reading about the vigil held for Gaspar, and it struck me how powerful these community gatherings can be. It's a great way for friends and family to come together, share stories, and try to find some solace in each other's company. I heard they kept a candle burning throughout the night, which is such a beautiful way to keep Gaspar’s spirit alive. Such acts of love and remembrance make a strong statement against the senseless violence that took him from his loved ones. The resilience of his family and friends truly highlights the strength of a community rallying together in the face of tragedy. If anyone attended the vigil and is comfortable sharing, what was the atmosphere like? It must have been such an emotional night. My thoughts remain with everyone impacted by this loss.
