I've been following the Michael Oleisky case closely, and I can't stop thinking about the impact on his children. It’s one thing to lose a parent, but under such violent circumstances, it must add layers to their grief that most of us can't fully comprehend. I came across a fundraiser that was set up for their education, and it’s both heartwarming and gut-wrenching to see the community rallying for them. It's a harsh reminder of the ripple effects of violence—not only does it take a life, but it also shatters the lives of those left behind. I hope the sentence brings some sense of justice, although it can never replace the loss. Sending lots of love to everyone affected, and especially to his kids who have to navigate this new reality. ?

Hey everyone, I've been following the case of Michael Oleisky, and something that's been on my mind is the impact on his kids. It's been 8 years since his tragic death, and I keep thinking about how difficult it must have been for them to grow up without their dad. It's hard to imagine losing a parent in such a violent way and having that shadow over you during such formative years. I recently came across the fundraising campaign that was set up for their education, and it warms my heart to see the community rallying around them. It’s a small comfort knowing that there's support out there to help them pursue their dreams, even with such a huge loss in their lives. I hope that wherever they are now, the Oleisky kids are finding some peace and strength. If anyone has any updates on how they’re doing or ways we can continue to support them, please share. It’s important we keep Michael’s memory alive by being there for them. Thanks for reading, and sending some love to all who knew Michael.
