I can't stop thinking about the aspect of this case where Stacey Steward was actually on the phone with the dispatcher when the conflict turned fatal. It’s hard to imagine how terrifying those final moments must have been for her. Her fear and concerns about Crain seem even more justified in hindsight. As someone who works in emergency services, this hits close to home. It makes me wonder if there was something more that could have been done to prevent this, or if there were earlier signs that went unnoticed. My heart really goes out to her family, especially knowing that they are left with these haunting questions and no real closure yet. It's just so devastating to think that her call for help was happening while the situation escalated beyond control.

Has anyone looked into the concerns Stacey had about Michael Crain's behavior before the incident? I can't stop thinking about how she expressed fear over his actions, specifically regarding his unwanted advances. It’s chilling to think she might have had some sense of the danger she was in, yet felt trapped in her own home. It breaks my heart for her family and for Alex's loved ones that this wasn't prevented. How did it escalate to such a point? Were there signs that were missed? Also, is there any update on the ongoing investigations to find the murder weapon? This part of the case makes it feel like there's more to uncover. Hopefully, answers come soon for the sake of both families and the community still grappling with this loss.
