I've been looking into the disappearance of Alexander Calder, and there's a detail that's been bugging me. Given his almost nonverbal state and cognitive challenges, I'm curious about how much interaction he had with his surroundings. Was there any record of him trying to communicate with others, either through gestures or with certain trusted individuals at the shelters he frequented? It strikes me that those who were most familiar with his communication methods might hold key insights that would otherwise go unnoticed by someone unfamiliar with his day-to-day activities. It's tragic how people with unique communication needs can become further isolated, especially when there’s no fixed routine to track. If there was any way he shared information, even subtle hints, this could have been crucial right before he disappeared. Anyone else think small details might have slipped under the radar back then?
