Has anyone else been following the Salome case closely? I've been thinking a lot about the response from the local law enforcement. It seems like they did everything they could once they were on the scene, but it's still so unsettling to think about how the suspect managed to break into multiple homes and commit such horrific acts. I can't even begin to imagine what the families of Lester, Ella, and Alice are going through. They, along with everyone in Salome, deserve peace of mind. I read that some of the residents are now looking into home security systems. I truly hope the community can heal and find a way to feel safe again. It's such a stark reminder of how quickly life can change and the need for both community support and vigilance. If anyone in the area has updates or insights, please share — knowing more might help us all understand how to support each other moving forward.
