I've been following Diane Bonneau's case for quite some time, and something that's always intrigued me is the lack of any significant leads that have surfaced over the years. It's puzzling how someone can just disappear without a trace like Diane did, especially when the authorities conducted such extensive searches early on. Does anyone else think that there might be some overlooked detail in her daily routine that could provide a clue?
Considering she was last seen around noon, I wonder if anyone in the neighborhood saw or heard anything unusual. Could there have been someone unfamiliar to the area around that time, maybe a passerby who noticed something odd? It seems like such a small detail, but you never know what could crack the case open.
Also, I keep thinking about the polygraph test Diane’s partner took. It’s been reported that he passed, but what else might investigators have uncovered during their interviews? Perhaps there’s more to that detail, or maybe he provided information that just hasn’t been made public. It's certainly a case that is as confounding as it is tragic. Would love to hear other thoughts and any theories you might have!
