I've been following Luis Betancourt's case and something that's always puzzled me is the lack of any witnesses who might have seen him after his vehicle was left in Niagara Falls. It seems strange that no one saw him considering he was wearing such distinct clothing. The black and grey ski jacket and burgundy shirt combo would stand out, especially in spring. I wonder if the investigation ever focused on canvassing local businesses or residential areas around where his car was found. It's a relatively populated area, so someone must have noticed a man matching his description, right? To me, it feels like crucial time was lost when no one came forward initially. Maybe there are people out there who saw something and didn’t realize its importance. What do you guys think? Could there be unreported sightings that were overlooked?
