I’ve been following Carlton Edmondson’s case for a while now, and something that's always puzzled me is the small ransom amount. Only $700? It almost seems symbolic rather than practical, considering they went to such extremes. I can't help but wonder if this was more about sending a message than actually getting the money. Maybe these suspects had deeper connections or grudges we aren’t aware of. With how intense the violence was, it seems personal. What do you all think? Could there be more to this story that’s not coming to light yet?
Has anyone else been following the Carlton Edmondson case? It's such a tangled web, and I'm especially curious about the role that technology played in the investigation. I read somewhere that cellphone footage of the attack was a big break for detectives trying to piece together what happened. It's chilling to think how the suspects thought they could record such a horrific act and get away with it—it’s like something out of a crime show. This footage apparently helped lead to their arrests, but it's just so frustrating and sad that despite all the digital evidence, Carlton still hasn't been found. What are your thoughts on how technology is used in cases like this? In some ways, it feels like it can be both a blessing and a curse.
Hey everyone, I've been following the case of Carlton Edmondson and something that's really been on my mind is the role that cellphone footage played in this investigation. It's crazy to think how much digital evidence can help solve these cases, right? It seems like the footage was instrumental in identifying the suspects, but it makes me wonder if there’s more out there that hasn’t been discovered or disclosed yet. Could there be additional recordings or data on phones that might shed light on where Carlton is?
Also, the area where he was last believed to have been taken is so remote. I’ve read that it can be super tough terrain—wondering if that’s part of why he hasn’t been located yet. Does anyone familiar with Johnson County know what challenges searchers might face there, especially with cadaver dogs? It just seems so important to exhaust every possible resource in hopes of finding him and bringing some peace to his family. Thoughts?
