I've always found the detail about Johnny Lee Baker's missing garage door opener to be such an intriguing part of his case. Of all things, why would that be the only item that vanished along with him? To me, it suggests the possibility that he left of his own volition, at least initially. The garage door opener is something you might take if you intended to come back or if you needed it to get access to the house later. But if that's true, what happened after he left?
