I’ve been following Ani Ashekian's case, and something that's been on my mind is her decision to leave the hotel in Beijing without notifying her friends. This seems so unlike someone who was meticulous enough to aim for 30 countries by her 31st birthday. There’s got to be a reason she left like that, right? Did she meet someone or get an unexpected message? I know it’s all speculation, but understanding her mindset during that trip might provide some clues. Anyone with thoughts on what could have prompted such an abrupt, unplanned departure? Just trying to make sense of her actions before she entered Hong Kong.
