I've been digging into the timeline of Heidi Allen's disappearance and noticed something curious about the morning she went missing. What struck me as odd is how quickly the investigation was able to pull in resources from entities like the New York State Army National Guard and the US Army 10th Mountain Division. It makes me wonder if there was more happening behind the scenes that prompted such a swift and large-scale response. Normally, it seems like it would take a bit longer to coordinate such a massive search effort. Does anyone know if this is typical for missing person cases back then, or could it suggest something about the level of urgency or information they had early on? Just trying to understand why the response was as big and fast as it was!
