Has anyone looked into the environmental conditions around the Freshwater Lagoon area during the time Basil Tolson Jr. went missing? I'm curious because sometimes natural factors can play a role in these kinds of cases. Was there any particular weather event that could have made the area more dangerous or hard to navigate around June 2018? It might help explain why he couldn't make contact or why a search would be challenging. Also, does the local terrain or wildlife present specific risks someone unfamiliar with the area might underestimate? Just trying to piece together any details that could provide more clarity on what might have happened to him.

I've been following Basil Tolson Jr.'s case quite closely, and something that's been bugging me is the timeline between when he last spoke with his family and when he was reported missing. We know that he last contacted his family on June 2, 2018, but he wasn't reported missing until July 25, 2018. That's a pretty significant gap – almost two months. Given that he was reportedly working on a cannabis farm, I'm curious if this delay is typical in such industries. Maybe the nature of the work involves long stretches without communication? Or were there underlying reasons why the delay might've seemed normal to those who knew him? If anyone has insights or thoughts based on similar cases, I'd appreciate it. The wait for answers must be incredibly hard for his family.

Hey everyone, I've been following Basil Tolson Jr.'s case and can't stop thinking about the last place he was possibly seen. Freshwater Lagoon is such a mysterious area, and it got me wondering if it's been thoroughly searched? I read that areas like those can have dense vegetation and rough terrain, which might make searches challenging. Also, does anyone know if they've used any specialized equipment or tech, like drones or sonar, in their search efforts around there? Sometimes these tools can reveal things that are overlooked in manual searches. Hoping others might have some insights or heard any recent updates from the Humboldt Sheriff’s Office about new search strategies. If Tolson was indeed there, I hope they find something soon. Any thoughts?
