Does anyone else find it interesting how the two friends with Matt during the Lakeside Park shooting were unharmed and stayed to talk with detectives? It seems like they might have helped piece together the sequence of events that night, but I've seen almost nothing about what they heard or saw. Their presence there could have been crucial in understanding what led up to the gunfire. It's got to be so hard for them, dealing with the trauma of losing friends and the pressure to recount those moments. I can't even imagine the weight on their shoulders. It makes me think about how much these experiences can affect eyewitnesses and the burden they carry with them long after everything is over. If anyone has any news about how they’re doing, I’d really appreciate it.
