Does anyone else find it odd that Joy's disappearance wasn't officially reported until over six months after she was last seen? ? Given that she was navigating a transient lifestyle, it's understandable there might be gaps in communication with family, but half a year seems really lengthy. I'm curious if there's any background on the family's contact pattern with her before she went missing. Maybe she had stretches of time where she wouldn't check in, and that's why it took so long for them to realize something was amiss? This delay might have complicated the investigation even further, considering how hard it is already with her possibly being all over the LA area. If anyone has insights or local connections, it’d be great to share them here.
