Hi everyone,
I’ve been following Michael Jess Perez’s case and something that stands out to me is the timing between his last known sighting in July 2019 and when he was officially reported missing in 2026. That seems like an incredibly long time for a missing person's report, especially since his family had been trying to find him for years. What could cause such a delay in the formal report? I know they hired a private investigator early on, but I’m curious if anyone else has thoughts or expertise on what might have held them back from going to the police sooner. Could this gap have affected what evidence is available now? It’s baffling and must be so difficult for his loved ones to have so little information after all this time. Anyone have any insights on similar experiences or thoughts?
Thanks for any input you have!
