Hey everyone, I recently stumbled across the case of Chong Tae Yun and I'm curious if anyone here has thoughts on how cases like his, where there's a huge communication gap with family, get handled by authorities? From what I understand, his brother hadn't been in touch for over a decade before reporting him missing. I can't imagine how tough it must be for law enforcement to start looking for someone with no new info. Does anyone have insights into how they might tackle such a case? I would think trying to track any public records like DMV info or utilities might help, but I'm no expert. Could it be possible there's simply no trail left to follow after all these years? Hope someone with experience or knowledge can chime in.
